Cricket Latrobe Valley is saddened to hear of the passing of Mark Brown.
Mark was a Life Member of the Traralgon & District Cricket Association and a much-loved figure across the local cricket community. A club legend at the Traralgon Rovers, he captained their 1994/95 A Grade premiership side, remained a dedicated player with the Gippsland Goannas, and was always willing to lend a hand – whether it was mentoring younger players, repairing bats, or sharing his wealth of stories and knowledge.
His contribution to the game locally has been immense, and his passion for cricket and community spirit will be deeply missed.
