Event Overview
Join Cricket Latrobe Valley for our annual Pink Stumps Round, an event dedicated to raising funds for the McGrath Foundation. Last year, we proudly raised over $1,500 to support this incredible cause, and we’re aiming even higher in 2025!
The Pink Stumps Round is more than just a cricket match – it’s a chance for our community to come together in support of individuals and families navigating breast cancer. With proceeds going directly to the McGrath Foundation, this event helps fund McGrath Breast Care Nurses, who provide essential support to those in need across Australia.
- Date: Thursday 13 February 2025
- Time: Matches commence at 5:30pm, with after-match activities commencing at approximately 7:30pm.
- Location: Matches are centrally located around the wider Traralgon West Sporting Complex. Post-match activities will be held in the upstairs function room at the Traralgon West Club Rooms (Douglas Parade, Traralgon).

Food & Drink
During Matches
The following Clubs will be offering a canteen and bar service during the Pink Stump matches:
- Centrals Cricket Club: Standard bar and hot food options (ie. dim sims, potato cakes, hot dogs and hot chips)
- Imperials Cricket Club: Standard bar and hot food options (ie. hot dogs and steamed dim sims)
- Traralgon West Cricket Club: Standard bar and hot food options (ie. dim sims, hot dogs and hot chips).
Post Match
After matches are completed, players and their families and friends are encouraged to come along to the upstairs function room at the Traralgon West Sporting Complex:
- Time and Location: From 7pm in the upstairs function room at the Traralgon West Club Rooms (Douglas Parade, Traralgon)
- Guest Speaker: Melissa Hammond – breast cancer survivor and local businesswoman (Mel’s)
- Food: Pizza from Pizza Boyz Traralgon will be delivered throughout the night, at a cost of $10 per person (all you can eat). All profits from pizza sales will be donated to our Pink Stumps fundraising account. Cash preferred, though card facilities will be available. Thank you to Abicor Warrgul for providing catering accessories.
- Drinks: Traralgon West Cricket Club will be running a bar in the upstairs function room, with a few pink surprises to keep ‘on theme’! Cash and card available.
- Major Raffle Drawn: Pre-purchase your tickets by making a donation using this link, or purchase on the night (we will write out raffle tickets equivalent to your donation value). There are some incredible prizes up for grabs (scroll down for the full list), so give yourself a chance at winning all while supporting a wonderful cause!

We’re thrilled to have DJ Glenno, proudly sponsored by Willarah Farm Beef, setting the atmosphere for a fun and memorable evening during our Pink Stumps Round! Kick back and relax with your team mates post-match in the upstairs function room and enjoy the evening while supporting a great cause.
And if karaoke is your thing, DJ Glenno has you covered! A little birdy also mentioned that there might be a free karaoke session up for grabs for the club who hits the stage the hardest!

The ‘Pink Stumps Round’ Raffle
The highlight of our Pink Stumps Round fundraiser on Thursday, 13 February 2025 is our major raffle, with all proceeds going directly to the McGrath Foundation.
By purchasing raffle tickets, you’re helping ensure ongoing access to a McGrath Breast Care Nurse through Latrobe Regional Hospital (LRH), making a real difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer.
Raffle Details
For every dollar donated via this McGrath Foundation link, we will write out the equivalent number of raffle tickets in your name. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5, and donations over $2 are tax deductible. Ticket sales will close at 8:30pm.
All funds raised are paid directly to the McGrath Foundation, so you can be confident your contribution is going straight to the cause.
